Thorskogs Slott is a Sleeping Beauty castle that is beautifully located with a view of the Göta River. We arrange conferences, weddings and parties, weekends and a variety of other special events for Swedish and foreign guests. The castle is nestled in a lush English park, which offers unique opportunities for activities. Hospitality and quality are our guiding principles and we do – every day – our utmost to ensure that those who visit Thorskogs Slott experience the unique atmosphere that is found here.

We are currently looking for a chef and restaurant staff

Our guests enjoy a beautiful environment as well as gastronomy and service at a high level. The food philosophy can be simply expressed as rustic “fine dining” with high finish, modern techniques and very fine ingredients. We cook for conferences, private dinners, luxurious weekends, weddings and corporate events. In the evenings we serve a fixed menu with 3–4 courses during one sitting to all guests. This gives us plenty of time for prep and the opportunity to give all components the time they need to be really good.

Are you a chef with a few years of experience looking for a place to develop, you've come to the right place. We are a non-prestigious team with great expertise and free rein to create the food we think is really good. We place great emphasis on details, finish and constantly developing and improving our product. Working hours vary between Monday-Saturday, day and evening hours, as well as a couple of Sundays per year. An evening shift normally ends at 22:00 PM. There is the possibility of staying overnight between shifts in connection with the castle in our staff housing.
