The “Petter” room is named after shipyard owner Petter Larsson, who founded a successful shipyard on the Göta River in 1865. His entrepreneurial spirit and technical innovations, such as early electrification of the operation in 1885, laid the foundation for Thorskogs Slott, which he had built in 1892.
