Smedjan

Thorskog's mill was started in 1738 by merchant Olof Wengren from Gothenburg. The forge was built at the falls in the river, below Spikdammen. Here, saws and other tools, as well as nails, were manufactured, among other things.

You fall asleep to the soft sound of the babbling brook outside and wake up to the singing of birds. All guest rooms at Smedjan are individually decorated in a modern classic style.
